1. MONITER

  A computer monitor is an output device.
 The first computer monitors used cathode ray tubes
 A discrete monitor comprises a visual display, support electronics, power supply,   housing, electrical connectors, and external user controls.
 it used to display images, text, video, and graphics information generated by a   connected computer via a computer's video card.

 
2. MOUSE 

 it is a small, movable device that lets you control a range of things on a computer
Most types of mouse have two buttons, and some will have a wheel in between the buttons. 
Most types of mouse connect to the computer with a cable
Some types of mouse are wireless.


3. KEYBOARD


The meaning or full form of KEYBOARD is "Keys Electronic Yet Board Operating A to z Response Directly".
 It has 104 buttons or keys.
Christopher Sholes invented the first practical typewriter and introduced the keyboard layout that is familiar today
The letter keys are in the centre of the keyboard.
The number keys across the top of the keyboard are also found on the right of the keyboard. 


4.SCANNER

A scanner is considered an input device since it provides information to the computer in the form of scanned images.
It will take anything that is physically present, such as a paper or a picture, and convert it into a digital form before transferring it to your personal computer.
There are basically three types of scanners

A scanner is only able to send information to the computer and cannot receive information from the computer like a printer.


5.CPU

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the primary component of a computer that acts as its “control center.”
The CPU, also referred to as the “central” or “main” processor,
The three main components of a CPU are:
Arithmetic and Logic Unit (ALU)
Control Unit (CU)
Registers.

6.CD 
A compact disc is a portable storage medium that can record, store and play back audio, video and other data in digital form.
CDs are fragile and prone to scratches; they can be repaired, but disc readability may be affected.
The CD has seen a steady decline in use, particularly during the early 2010s.

7. PENDRIVE

 pen drive -- is a plug-and-play portable storage device 
 IT uses flash memory and is lightweight enough to attach to a keychain.
A USB flash drive can be used in place of a compact disc.

8.PRINTER 
A printer is a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the information to paper
this is called 'hard copy'.
Based on the technology used, they can be classified as Impact or Non-impact printers.

9. WEBCAMERA
A webcam is a video camera which is designed to record or stream to a computer or computer network.
They are primarily used in video telephony, live streaming and social media, and security.

10. EXTERNAL HARD DISK
External hard disk are portable storage devices that enable you to carry important data elsewhere without carrying a laptop.
It provides additional storage capacity and allows users to store and access data outside of their computer's internal hard drive.
They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as backing up important files, expanding the storage capacity of a computer, transferring large files, or storing multimedia content like photos, videos, and music.

11. INPUT DEVICE AND OUTPUT DEVICES
  1. Input devices: These devices are used to enter data or instructions into a computer system. They allow users to interact with the computer and provide input for processing. Some common examples of input devices include:
  • Keyboard: A keyboard is a common input device that allows users to input alphanumeric characters, numbers, and special symbols by pressing keys.
  • Mouse: A mouse is a pointing device that enables users to move a cursor on the screen and select or interact with graphical elements by clicking buttons.
  • Touchscreen: A touchscreen is a display that can detect and respond to touch inputs, allowing users to interact directly with the displayed content.
  • Scanner: A scanner is used to convert physical documents or images into digital form, allowing them to be stored or edited on a computer.
  • Microphone: A microphone captures audio input, such as voice or sound, and converts it into electrical signals that can be processed by the computer.
  • Webcam: A webcam captures video input, allowing users to record videos, participate in video conferences, or take pictures.

12. ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLAND AND LAKSHDWEEP


Andaman and Nicobar Islands: The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a group of islands located in the Bay of Bengal, forming a Union Territory of India. It consists of a total of 572 islands, out of which only a few are inhabited. The major inhabited islands include North Andaman, Middle Andaman, South Andaman, and Little Andaman. The capital city of this territory is Port Blair.

Lakshadweep: Lakshadweep is another group of islands situated in the Arabian Sea, off the southwestern coast of India. It is also a Union Territory of India. The Lakshadweep archipelago consists of 36 islands, out of which only 10 are inhabited. The major inhabited islands are Agatti, Kavaratti, Kalpeni, and Minicoy. Kavaratti serves as the administrative capital of Lakshadweep.
